KFC Copycat - KFC Potato Wedges recipe



KFC Potato Wedges

5 baking potatoes, cut into wedges

1 cup milk

1 egg

1 cup flour

1 ½ Tbs salt

1 tsp pepper

½ tsp chicken stock powder

¼ tsp paprika

1 dash garlic powder

cooking oil (for frying)

Preheat cooking oil to 190°C. Cut potatoes into 20 equal size wedges.

Mix the egg and milk until well blended in a large bowl. Mix the dry ingredients in another large bowl.

Dip a few potato wedges in the milk and egg then into the flour mixture until well coated.

Cook in deep fryer for 3 minutes, remove from the oil and allow them to sit for one minute and then cook again for 5 minutes or until cooked.
