1 cup chopped coriander; packed tightly
1 fresh green chili, chopped
3 Tbs water
225 g plain yoghurt
½ tsp salt, to taste
1/8 tsp ground pepper
½ tsp ground cumin seeds
1 Tbs lemon juice

Put the coriander and chili in the container of an electric blender with water and blend until a smooth paste.

In a non-metallic bowl, combine the yogurt, salt, pepper, cumin, lemon juice, and paste from the blender. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
