Mexican Hot Chocolate

A hint of spice enhances this foamy hot chocolate. Serve with cinnamon sticks for stirring.

dark cooking chocolate

¼

cup

sugar

Tbs

ground cinnamon

8

cups

milk

8

cinnamon sticks

whipped cream; optional

Combine ingredients in the top of a double boiler. Cook over hot water until chocolate is melted. Beat with a wire whisk until hot and foamy.

Tips

Whipping the milk as it heats prevents "skin" from forming on top.
