sherry; optional

butter; melted and divided

breadcrumbs: dry

Arrange scallops in shallow buttered casserole. Sprinkle with sherry.

Pour half the butter over scallops. Cover with bread crumbs.

Pour rest of butter over bread crumbs. Bake at 190°C for 15 minutes.
