Cheesy Herbed Mushroom Caps

250 g cream cheese, softened

1 clove garlic, crushed

4 spring onions, chopped

½ tsp Tabasco sauce

2 Tbs chopped parsley

½ tsp dried basil

½ tsp salt

36 medium-sized fresh mushroom caps

In medium bowl, blend cream cheese, garlic, onions, pepper sauce, parsley and basil. Mix well.

Remove stems from mushrooms and save for future use. Spoon 1 tsp cheese mixture into mushroom caps.

Serve immediately or cover and chill until serving. Garnish as desired.

Servings: 36

Yield: 36 appetizers
